The Global Prep Way
Global Preparatory Academy is a dual language school that connects students from diverse linguistic backgrounds and educates them together in a highly rigorous, engaging and nurturing environment. Using both English and Spanish to instruct students in all core content areas, students develop high levels of bilingualism and biliteracy, as well as a deep value and understanding of other cultures.
As citizens in a global world, students at Global Prep gain limitless access to other cultures through bilingualism and instruction, which emphasizes critical thinking using global perspectives and experiential learning. Our students will attain bilingualism in a natural process through everyday conversation and content instruction. Through two-way immersion (TWI), students will affirm the values of their own cultures while acquiring an understanding and appreciation of other cultures. We are committed to providing relevant instruction pushing our students to be critical thinkers and change makers in an ever-changing world.

- One mission, 3 programs - Language learning for all:
- The 50:50 dual language model
- The 50-50 model is a two way bilingual immersion program. Students come from Spanish speaking homes and English speaking homes. Half of the day is spent learning content in Spanish and the other half of the day is taught in English. Entrance grade into the program: Prekinder
- The 75-25 dual program model
- The 75 -25 program model is a two way immersion program where 75% of the day is taught in English and 25% is taught in Spanish. Literacy is taught in both languages while math, social studies and sciences is taught only in English. Entrance grade into the program: 2nd grade
- FLEX
- The FLEX program model allows students the opportunity to learn Spanish in their specials class or daily as a part of our middle school program. Students who enter Global Prep Academy after 1st grade will have access to learning Spanish through out FLEX program.
Our staff represents many different countries: Cuba, Venezuela, The Canary Islands, South Korea, Nicaragua, Colombia, China, El Salvador, México, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Cameroon, Liberia Nigeria, Guatemala, Bolivia, Kenya and the United States.
